Montview Community Preschool and Kindergarten has been a part of Denver’s Park Hill Community for 45 years. It is a non-profit, parent cooperative preschool, serving 245 families of all races, faiths, and economic circumstances. The highly professional staff and active parent participation are two reasons the school was considered to be the “gold standard” in a review of area preschools by Denver’s 5280 magazine.

The school, known for its commitment to diversity, provides financial aid to 1/5 of the children enrolled. Well over $50,000 in aid is being provided this year, an unheard of amount for a private preschool. While the tuition cost is low, it would still be out of reach for many Denver and Park Hill families without financial aid.

On February 27, 2010, Montview will hold its annual Auction to raise funds for its scholarship program. The Auction provides the largest portion of the scholarship budget. Without this income, we would be unable to provide high quality early childhood education to families who might not otherwise be able to afford the school.

We ask for your support this year and hope you will consider making a donation of a product, a gift certificate, or a service to the Auction. Your contribution will be recognized in both a visual display at the Auction and in our Auction Catalog distributed prior to the event to families and friends of the school. Thanks to strong community and business support, the 2007 Auction had over 525 people in attendance.
